The Wonder Works Nature Collector’s Swap Shop takes inspiration from nature swap programs run by other museums and zoos in the United States and Canada.
When Mr. Eric’s children were young, they used to trade for natural objects at the Brookfield Zoo’s Hamil Family Play Zoo. The zoo’s nature swap program is currently on hiatus, although it might come back soon in a slightly different form.
